My 11 year old daughter is in the 6th grade and has Stargardts. She started learning Braille this past summer. She loves it. She learned very quickly. Not knowing if her vision will get worse later, she is 20/200 right now, I wanted her to have every aid she can get. There are some braille devices to help in taking notes. I am not an expert but anything to help her education easier and not so stressful, I am all for.
