In doing some research about MCS therapy, I spoke to a patient who had been treated by the doctor in CA who was attributed with being the pioneer of this therapy with macular deg. patients (can't remember her name right off hand). She had Best's and reported having a lot of success with the MCS. She is now able to drive, read without difficulty, etc. She also utilizes that doctor's particular regime of treatment including nutrition supplements. color lamp, and eye exercises. I'll be happy to give you her name and number if you are interested in speaking with her. I would need to confer with her first of course before releasing her number, but I'm sure she won't mind.
