Darrell, I have Stargardt's. I was never really told what my eye disorder was until I was 21 years old. I am now 59 years old. My Grandfather was blind and my mother,2 aunts and an uncle are blind and acousin also has it and she is 57. Luckily i am the only one who is not totally blind so I feel pretty fortunate. i recently hired a young lady to stay with my mom and she has Stargardts. She is only 23 and she is almost blind. I can still see with my glasses but i use several devices to read with. i wear low visual aid glasses to read along with a loupe glass. If you would like to email me, my address is lksomphstn@aol.com
