I purchased my mcs unit from Microstim Tech, In 7881 N W 90th Ave Tamarac Florida, 33321 Tel. 800 326 9119 In 00 the cost was $600.00- the new unit are about $900.00.One does need a Dr.'s prescription- I also take the vitamins- I have gained acuty. Please, dont think as a cure, but it does help at this time I am 20/20.I have tons of drusens.The point to the story is do not mortgage your house to visit for the very expensive treatment. The above address is the inventor of this unit.It is Fda approved, however no for macular. best to all
