I was diagnosed with PIC around the end of last year. It started with just a dark patch which then distorted things. I now have two (1 above & 1 below the pupil) I am on steroids (oral) at the moment at hope for the best. Like yourself I was told this is rare and the cause/cure is not known. Maybe we could see if we have anything in common - I do suffer from Eczema and once when I had stress it went into my eyes - whether this could have been the start of it, I have no idea. I have been told that short sighted women also suffer from it but other than that I really do not know - do you take extra vitamins? use eyedrops? maybe we can find a cause. I will shortly be trying colloidal silver which apparently kills bacteria but I need to ask an expert first - I will keep you update & hope you will also update me
